About the Founder
(She/her)

Seasoned. Well-recognized. Well-respected.

Our founder (she/her) is a seasoned and well-recognized Learning and Development professional who possesses more than 15 years relevant experience. Prior to founding Innovation for People Development, she was based in Hong Kong leading the L&D regional function in various renowned sizeable luxury fashion and beauty corporations overseeing the Greater China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia regions.

Believing in "Innovation" and the "People"

She has a strong belief that people is a contributing factor to any business' success, therefore, providing them with innovative learning opportunities is crucial. In her previous roles, she communicates closely with top management and business leaders to understand employee learning needs and identify performance gaps so that she could formulate learning strategies to drive desirable results. By playing a strategic key role as the ultimate L&D partner with businesses, she has proven track records facilitating many global brands to launch their businesses successfully in the Asia markets over the years. 

 

As the head of talent development, she drives management trainee programs to nurture future leaders internally, she also frequently represents the organizations to support the professional development of the young generation by giving career talks, internships and study tours for university students around the world to familiarize with retail business and L&D function.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Hong Kong and is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) certified practitioner. Her people-oriented personality, amiable communication approach and cultural sensitivity enable her to build relationships with people at all levels and nationalities effectively.
